Our brand new under ground houses, where you can experience unprecedented peace and relaxation.
It consists of a living room, kitchen, bedroom with 2 beds, a bedroom with a bunk bed, shower and toilet and is of course attractively decorated.
There is also a spacious terrace with plenty of shade with table and chairs, sun beds and a hammock. There is a large lawn in front of the terrace.
How they were built
We started by excavating the slope. Then we used 45 acacia trees from our own land, which were laid horizontally to build the walls of the house. The walls and floor are finished with wood and the roof is made of oak beams and planks. The whole is made watertight and finally covered with the excavated soil.
Natural materials have been used as much as possible. The special thing is that everything is a little bit crooked; some sloping here, some gaps there — making it very rustic.
Finally, due to its location on the south and with a façade made entirely of glass, optimum use is made of light and heat.
The result is a unique house, plenty of light and space. Cooled in the summer through the ground, heated in the winter by the sun.
